Hi, I'm Joshua Poplawski, a Pennsylvania-based filmmaker and photographer currently residing in Wilkes-Barre, PA (with my cat, Binky). I love creating and capturing stunning images. Having the opportunity to do this job full-time is an absolute dream come true, and being able to produce photos and videos is what drives me to get out of bed every morning. 

I started my company, Joshua Poplawski LLC, in 2019 when I was a senior at King's College William G. McGowan School of Business. From the first time I picked up a camera in 2013, I knew that I wanted to make this craft my full-time job. I was so eager to start my path in the industry that I graduated from college a semester early to pursue my dream. 

My areas of focus are film productions, corporate commercials, and weddings. At first, my business mainly focused on filming and photographing weddings. As I grew as a creator, I found myself working more weddings all over the country, gaining experience behind the lens, telling stories, and networking with people. As I continued to develop, I met some amazing people who helped me along my journey to get where I am today.

In 2021 I worked on my first movie set and have since been a part of multiple feature films. I continue to work in those productions and more, partaking in many various roles. 

When I'm not working, I'm on the golf course, running, hiking through the mountains, or skiing in the winter.
